Any organization cannot function well without having hard working and focused team members. A team is always defined by its leader, he has an important role. The team members actually convert the input into tangible output. A vision or expectation is shared by the leader with his team but a competent team should have the capability to work as required to achieve the goals.
Many a times, the team members provide their ideas that give their perspective to the leader. The roles and responsibilities of the team members make the organization functional with collective effort. Team members must promote harmony in the workplace that would lead to a positive environment where people would like to work. When someone is happy with what they do, they do it sincerely. This in return improves the overall productivity and efficiency of all the team members and organization leading it towards it end goal to achieve operational excellence.
The whole idea of working in teams is to make the projects manageable. It allows the business to divide the work amongst individuals with different skills. Team members also develop their skill to provide more value to the organization. When the work becomes defined and the teams are made, every individual gets a vision of what they are supposed to do and how they are going to do it. Once, all the pieces are in place the process starts where everyone contributes to accomplishing the collective goal of the organization by fulfilling individual goals.
