Inspection of machine before the start of production is essential. This process can help identify any setting that might cause defects in the final product. The smallest issue with the machine like a loose bolt, unlubricated components or dirty machinery can be the reason for inferior quality output and unusable products. The time spent manufacturing and reworking the defective products is also wasted which adversely effects

 the overall productivity and profits.  The main target of businesses is to be profitable and efficient hence, this is not a desirable situation. It leads to a waste of material, manpower and time that are counteracting factors to profitability of the organization.
