Using Activity Boards Effectively to ensure operational excellence

Activity board is a tool that connects company goals with the activities teams need to perform, problems occurring in the workplace and the efforts made by teams to solve them.

Activity boards serve many purposes besides sharing information and team results. They consist of multiple information detailing the corporate vision, progress chart, records of equipment effectiveness, evaluation and one-point lessons. Activity boards can clearly communicate what is being recorded, activities of the team, status of activities and problems occurring in the plant among shop floor workers, managers and maintenance staff.
